I am a 60 year old gentle man currently residing in Red Lion Pa.  I am the proud father of 2 wonderful now grown adults. Erick is in Law school in Akron Ohio and Jessica has made her home in Plattsburgh.

I was born and raised in the Midwest mostly in Chicago spending summers in Northern Indiana (Valparaiso) and South western Michigan.

My first real employment (Other than throwing Pizza’s for Gino’s) was with the Chicago Tribune. I had several different rolls at the Tribune and my favorite was my last. I managed the recording studio, Campbell Hall and a dining room arranging parties for clients/advertisers and building slide presentations. (Remember slides? That came before PowerPoint).  I left the Tribune to work with teenagers at Lake Bluff homes for children. I was a house parent. That was also a great job however it was in Evanston Il. and the local women’s league felt that it would be a better influence if it were a married couple that was running the home. As I was not ready for marriage, I moved on. I had several jobs between however my next large employer was Wyeth Pharmaceuticals In Skokie IL. After being at Wyeth about 6 years the plant closed and I was transferred to Ayerst Labs in Rouses Point (along the Canadian border in the NE corner of NY.) Soon after I arrived Ayerst became Wyeth. I was with Wyeth in various rolls and in 2004 after 32 years I retired. (HUH?) Well I retired from Wyeth and moved to York PA and began another career with Shire Pharmaceuticals.  As of 2008 I am still here as Sr. Manager Materials Management.

In the early 70’s I married Jan (I will leave her maiden name out in respect for her.). We were together for 5 years that were wonderful for me however as she decided she no longer wished to be married to me I guess logical thinking would assume it they were not wonderful for her.  In 1980 I Married Catherine. I met Cathy in Chicago however she was living in Kentucky at the time and just visiting. In early 2006 I lost Cathy to Cancer.

My main hobbies are music, computers, movies (mostly on DVD) I enjoy dining out as well as cooking in. I My favorite dish is Chicago style deep dish pizza. (Yes it is from scratch) I had to learn how to make it well as I could not find anything acceptable around York.  That is to say deep dish anyway. (I do not wish to slam the local pizza makers)

Currently  am living alone, well not quite, my son’s cat Frisky is living with me. I have to say her new habits are taxing and are not endearing me to her longevity.
